About Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)
For decades, the manufacturers of PFAS chemicals contaminated public drinking water and covered up impacts to human health and the environment.
Now, it’s estimated that more than 97% of the U.S. population have PFAS “forever chemicals” in their bloodstream — and if it’s high enough in concentration, it has been linked to kidney and testicular cancers, ulcerative colitis, and possibly many other types of cancers and serious conditions.

The drinking water systems on at least 80% of US military bases have ultra-high levels of PFAS contamination due to decades of frequent use of AFFF (or firefighting foam) to extinguish high-temperature petroleum fires.
Military veterans, their dependents and civilians who lived on or near a military base have a much higher likelihood to develop certain cancers and other serious health conditions.
